  • Bal Gangadhar was a great Indian independence warrior.
  • Bal Gangadhar Tilak was born On 23 July 1856 in Maharashtra.
  • As a freedom fighter he lit a fire across the country with the message, “Swaraj is my birth right.”
  • People knows him the father of Indian unrest and he introduced the concept of Swaraj to the people of India.
  • He openly supported Anti-British agitation and activities, due to which he was jailed several times.
