Speech on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti
Respected Teachers, Dear Friends,
I stand before you today to share a few words about an extraordinary leader and freedom fighter, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. As students, we must understand and appreciate the contributions of such luminaries to our nation’s history.
Netaji, born on January 23, 1897, was a beacon of courage and determination. His famous words, “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom,” resonate with us, reminding us of the sacrifices made for our independence.
What makes Netaji stand out for us, as students, is his youthful energy and the belief that young minds could be the catalysts for change. His leadership during the formation of the Indian National Army (INA) exemplifies the power of determined youth. It teaches us that age is never a barrier to making a difference.
Netaji envisioned a united India, free from the shackles of colonialism. He believed in the strength of unity, urging people to rise above differences for a common cause. This lesson is especially relevant for us, as we navigate a diverse and interconnected world.
As students, we are the torchbearers of the future. Netaji’s life encourages us to be fearless, to dream big, and to be active participants in shaping our nation. His legacy teaches us the importance of standing up for justice and working together to achieve common goals.
On this day, let us not only remember Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose but also take inspiration from his life. Let’s strive to be responsible, empathetic citizens, contributing positively to our community and our nation.
